One Pot Viral Dirty Spaghetti

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb mild Italian sausage
• 1 red bell pepper (diced)
• 1 green bell pepper (diced)
• 2 stalks of celery (diced)
• 1 yellow onion (diced)
• 4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 4 tbsp flour
• 4 cups of beef broth
• 1 cup of water (if needed)
• 1 lb. spaghetti noodles Seasonings
• 1½ tsp onion powder
• 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning
• 1½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Do not drain the grease.
2. Add the onion, celery, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in 1 teaspoon each of the Cajun seasoning, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
4. Add the tomato paste and flour. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring. Cover and bring to a boil. Stir in the remaining ½ teaspoon each of Cajun seasoning, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. (Taste and add more to your liking.)
6. Break the spaghetti noodles in half and add directly into the pot. Stir to fully cover the noodles with liquid. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally so the noodles don't stick.
7. If needed, add up to 1 cup of water during the last 5 minutes of cooking to reach your desired consistency.
8. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese and green onions.
