Ingredients
For the Sliders
1 lb ground beef
½ yellow onion (diced)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp cowboy butter seasoning, or to taste
1 package sliced provolone cheese
⅓ cup French fried onions
1 package slider buns (12 count)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
For the Cowboy Butter Topping
2 tbsp butter (melted)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
½ tsp cowboy butter seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Add the ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until the meat is fully cooked and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cowboy butter seasoning.
Add 4 slices of provolone cheese and the French-fried onions to the beef mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt. Stir everything together until creamy and combined.
Slice the entire package of slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread the mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
Add a layer of provolone cheese over the buns, followed by the cheeseburger mixture. Top with the remaining provolone cheese.
Place the top half of the slider buns over the cheese.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, fresh parsley, and ½ teaspoon cowboy butter seasoning. Brush generously over the top of the sliders.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is completely melted.
Remove the foil and, if desired, bake for another 2-3 minutes to lightly toast the tops.
Slice into individual sliders and serve warm. Enjoy!
